You are able to visit any of the Open Farm Days Weekend farms listed on the Open Farm Days map. Note that:
Each participating farm has their own activities and experiences planned.
Hours vary by location
Not all farms are open both Saturday and Sunday
Some may be open only one day, and some may require a fee or additional RSVP.
Our farm trail span the length of SLO County, up 65 miles! Please plan accordingly to account for drive times between farms.
Please note: not all SLO Co Farm Trail Farm members are open for Open Farm Days Weekend.

Pets are not allowed at any of the Open Farm Days Weekend farms or ranches. Plan to leave your pets at home as it will be too hot to leave them in your car while you visit farms.

Most attendees visit about 3-4 farms per day. The interactive Open Farm Days map is a great tool to plan your weekend. There you can see activities at each farm, times, and distance between locations.

Bring a bag or cooler for purchase you make along the trail.
Be aware of the weather forecast and dress appropriately. It can be HOT, so make sure to have water/water bottle to stay hydrated, sunscreen, coverings and a hat.
Most tours, workshops and happenings are outdoors on uneven terrain. Wear sensible close-toed, good walking shoes, bring a hat, and dress appropriate to be active outside.

Yes! It is fun for all ages! These are working farms and ranches so be mindful to keep an eye on your kiddos at all times.
