The trail map above includes ALL the details for each farm’s activities. When you hover over a farm you will get a short snippet of info and when you click into a farm you can see their complete listing of activities.
You can also filter by interest on the left hand side to search farms by what intrigues you.
It is an interactive map that allows you to create your own itinerary of farm fun!
Just click the orange heart plan tab on the right of the map to get started,
Then click “add a place” to select farms that interest you. That adds them to your itinerary,
You can also go farm by farm, clicking into each to read their listings and favorite them by clicking the heart icon on the bottom right of their header image,
From there you can arrange the order you plan to visit them in, remove or add new farms. You will have a custom itinerary with drive times and distances.

Learn the stories behind these remarkable wagons and how they carried people, mail, and goods across the frontier.
You’ll also see horse-drawn farm equipment that is still used today at Harris Stage Lines to put up hay—just as it was done in earlier times.
Next, visit our Saloon & Music Hall, where every item inside has its own story from the past.
From there, head over to the Livery Stables, where you’ll meet the Gentle Giants—our Belgian Draft Horses—standing in their tie stalls just as horses were kept in years gone by ready for their work day.
Watch as the horses are hitched to the wagon, and then enjoy a wagon ride around the ranch.

Plant your own sunshine! Sunflowers are an important part of our farm’s 45 acre pollinator habitat project. We will be offering visitors an opportunity to plant sunflower seeds in a paper cup filled with potting soil to take home with them and plant in their own yard. We will provide all of the supplies needed and care instructions.

Pets are not allowed at any of the Open Farm Days Weekend farms or ranches. Plan to leave your pets at home as it will be too hot to leave them in your car while you visit farms.

Most attendees visit about 3-4 farms per day. The interactive Open Farm Days map is a great tool to plan your weekend. There you can see activities at each farm, times, and distance between locations.

Bring a bag or cooler for purchase you make along the trail.
Be aware of the weather forecast and dress appropriately. It can be HOT, so make sure to have water/water bottle to stay hydrated, sunscreen, coverings and a hat.
Most tours, workshops and happenings are outdoors on uneven terrain. Wear sensible close-toed, good walking shoes, bring a hat, and dress appropriate to be active outside.
